# Mac uninstall

The legacy support guidance for macOS focuses on the official uninstaller rather than manual file deletion.

## Remove Grunt from a Mac

1. Download the official Grunt uninstaller from the support workflow.
2. Open the downloaded uninstaller from your **Downloads** folder.
3. Run the uninstaller and follow the prompts.
4. Restart the Mac after the uninstall completes.
